The Volunteer Recognition and Appreciation Lead oversees the development and implementation of both formal and informal recognition efforts.
Volunteer Recognition and Appreciation Lead
- Develop, manage, and implement a volunteer recognition program
- Work with program leads to identify volunteers to recognize
- Organize the annual volunteer appreciation event in coordination with Community Engagement Lead
Qualifications
- Enthusiastic about HSLC mission and programs
- Understanding of the value of volunteers
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Work well both individually and with others
- Ability to enter and manage volunteer data appropriately within a database
- Ability to actively engage with volunteers and program leads
- Ability to initiate projects with limited direction
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize appropriately when facing multiple responsibilities and tasks.
