Our Mission

Angelic Musings y Virtudes is a temple and sanctuary based upon the values of Peace, Love, and Freedom. We are dedicated to uplifting and improving the Spiritual, psychological, and physical well-being of traditionally marginalized communities (i.e. BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, diffabled) by implementing a holistic healing approach that focuses on fostering Connection with ourselves, each other, and the Earth through restorative self-elevation, resilient community building, and socio-ecological regeneration.

Our Work

Our holistic healing framework includes taking an individual, structural, and collective approach to healing. The collective approach focuses on healing society as a whole, or a Collective, by helping to shift harmful and outdated practices, ideologies, and mindsets held by a large portion of the population. This approach relies on educating and inspiring the masses to bring about elevated, Collective change through far-reaching mediums such as art, music, writing, and public speaking. Most of the work we have done up to this point falls under this category.

Currently, we are hoping to recruit the support needed to begin and expand the other components of this framework, including our individual approach which is mostly self-directed and focuses on healing at the level of the individual and takes into consideration each person’s unique circumstance, experiences, traumas, and needs. As part of our structural approach, the operation we call Ofrendas de Amor involves directly serving the local Puerto Rican community and others from traditionally marginalized backgrounds by (1) conducting socio-ecological research that generates insight to help inform (2) regenerative land development projects that aim to foster and increase (3) community wellness, engagement, and improvement.

We cater our programs and service offerings primarily to BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and diffabled (in lue of 'disabled') individuals and communities, specifically in Puerto Rican urban areas, but our [virtual] service and product offerings are open to All.

Our Vision

We work to manifest our vision of a world where: humans live harmoniously with the rest of nature; suffering approaches non-existence; happiness approaches infinity; and where the perils of imperialist-capitalist-consumerist pursuits no longer threaten all Life on Earth.
