Students Against Pollution-Nigeria

Students Against Pollution Nigeria (SAP Nigeria) is a youth-led initiative committed to uniting passionate young individuals across Nigeria and beyond to take action against environmental degradation, with a primary focus on pollution awareness, education, and community impact.

Our mission is to empower young people to become informed environmental advocates and changemakers, equipping them with the tools, platforms, and support they need to lead pollution-fighting efforts in their communities. While we are proudly rooted in Nigeria, our chapter welcomes youth from diverse backgrounds who are eager to be part of a global movement for sustainability, environmental justice, and long-term impact.

Through a combination of creative campaigns, school and university outreach, clean-up events, workshops, digital storytelling, and partnerships, we aim to shift attitudes toward pollution and inspire proactive environmental responsibility among youth.

We are committed to:

• Raising awareness about the devastating impact of pollution on health, climate, and local ecosystems.
• Creating platforms where young people can voice their concerns and lead solutions.
• Building partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and businesses to expand our reach and amplify our impact.
• Recognizing and certifying the contributions of volunteers and youth leaders through official hours, leadership roles, and awards.
