Hearts For Elders Illinois

Heart for Elders is a student-founded volunteer group created by a team of high school sophomores who share one belief: older adults deserve company, stimulation, and joy every single day. We started this club because we noticed how much a friendly visit, a shared activity, or a little help with a phone can brighten someone's afternoon — and how often busy care teams don't have enough hands to make those moments happen as often as they'd like.

Volunteers help create meaningful experiences for seniors by leading and supporting activities such as games, arts and crafts, technology assistance, reading sessions, music programs, and friendly social visits. They also play an important role in organizing and running special events, holiday celebrations, birthdays, and community programs that bring joy, connection, and engagement to older adults.
