Country Watchers provides timely, country-specific curated content to equip the development community with the information they need to increase the impact of their global civil society efforts.

There is a significant amount of information online on countries in various forms to include news media. Media reporting, however, has a short shelf life and today’s news becomes precedence for tomorrow’s events. Country Watchers curates the news of most interest from the week to provide a way to step back and start identifying patterns of interest over time in a given country. Ideally, the observations will also encourage reflection and dialogue in a community of watchers to help guide the direction and focus of curation.
