Data Science Dojo

At Data Science Dojo, our motto is "data science for everyone." For many, data science may seem like the realm of PhD’s in Computing and Statistics, but we don’t believe that. We were founded on the principle that everyone can benefit from an understanding of data science. And that by democratizing data science, we can make the world better.

Data Science Dojo is a paradigm shift in data science learning. We offer short-duration, in-person, hands-on data science training that will get you started with practical data science in just one week. Our curriculum was intentionally designed to reduce the barriers of time and cost that have otherwise kept data science education in the grasp of a privileged few.

We offer fellowships to non-profit professionals dedicated to using data science to improve lives. Fellows are not required to become data scientists. Instead, they use the skills that they develop at our bootcamp to: enhance their research projects, increase efficiency, and highlight how data can help society. Past fellows have worked towards goals such as maintaining biodiversity, combating homelessness, and searching for cures to diseases.
