Burness is a full-service global communications firm supporting nonprofits and the people they serve. We are a team of skilled communicators—strategists, writers, editors, designers, artists, trainers, storytellers and media and policy experts—who support nonprofits, foundations, international agencies, non-governmental organizations, researchers and advocates in the United States and all over the world. Since 1986, we have worked with more than 700 organizations to advance social change on issues from childhood obesity, healthy communities, global health and health care, to education, the environment, agricultural development and rights for Indigenous Peoples. We do this by working hand in hand with our partners to promote ideas that inspire and drive social change, confront poverty, promote health and protect our planet. We are impatient for action—for impact sooner rather than later—and our ability to influence change is contingent on work we believe in and a positive company culture.
