Caracol Language Coop is a small worker-owned business dedicated to creating spaces of language justice. We offer high-quality language services in Spanish and English. These services include interpretation (spoken), translation (written), interpreter training, and consulting for building multilingual organizational capacity. We believe that language justice is central to social justice and to organizing our communities. Our clients range from small community organizations to large unions and foundations. We support work geared toward advancing social justice, organizing to build power, and improving material conditions in our communities -- im/migrants, people of color, LGBTQI+, workers, tenants, womxn, as well as others who are organizing for justice, and their allies. Our rates function according to sliding scales that account for our clients’ budgets, our business’ financial health, and the various complexities specific to this kind of work.
