    Our client, an agricultural association located in Arlington, Virginia (near Courthouse metro) has an immediate need for a temporary, Meetings & Events Coordinator. This position supports the Director of Meetings and Events in planning and executing meetings, webinars, partner programs, board and committee meetings, and other educational events. This position manages all aspects of event registration and provides administrative support to ensure seamless event logistics and outstanding customer service. The position will likely be through early December, but may extend.

    Location: Arlington, VA

    Schedule: Hybrid (2 days in/3 days remote)

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience (minimum 2 years) in event planning or association management.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines.
    • Experience working with AMS and CMS platforms.
    • Excellent communication, proofreading, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Reader.
    • Customer-focused, friendly, and eager to take initiative.
