Director of Communications and Marketing

We are working with an educational nonprofit, in the downtown area. This would be an temporary position as they determine the long-term role with the organization. If you have the appropriate background and are not working lets connect. This person will be in charge of all communications for the organization, social media, website updates, supporting events and marketing those events. The right candidate will need to have 5+ years as a leader in a communications position. Please note this person will not have a support staff so they will handled updating website, specifically with events coming up. Working under the Executive Director of the organization, this person needs to be comfortable conveying changes and social media importance to the board members.

This position will be hybrid with 1-2 days in the office and when the events are taking place this person will need to be present, these could be fundraising events, meetings with board members. With these events you will have ample notice to arrange your schedule.
