The Position
It's an exciting time to join Napa County HHSA's Behavioral Health Division. As the division strengthens its quality, compliance, and performance improvement infrastructure, the Behavioral Health Quality Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring programs meet state and federal requirements.This position is responsible for tracking regulatory changes, coordinating audits and site visits, developing and monitoring corrective action plans, and ensuring operational practices align with oversight expectations. The Quality Coordinator also oversees staff training on compliance requirements and serves as a liaison between the Behavioral Health Division, external regulatory agencies, and the Agency's Quality Management Division. The position directly supervises the Senior Quality Management Specialist and provides leadership on quality assurance efforts across both mental health and substance use disorder services.This is a hands-on opportunity to build systems, support staff, and help drive meaningful improvements in how care is delivered across Napa County's behavioral health system.This recruitment is being conducted to fill one full-time vacancy. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience and Education:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be:
Experience:
Four or more years of employment in a program delivering mental health services supported through state and/or federal funding.
Education: A Master's degree in behavioral health or a closely related discipline.
License or Certificate*:
