    EDIB Program & Partnerships Lead (Contract | Remote)

    The Choice is partnering with a nationally recognized nonprofit conservation organization to identify an experienced EDIB Program & Partnerships Lead for a temporary contract opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity to join a mission-driven organization dedicated to environmental conservation while helping maintain critical Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB) initiatives during a leadership leave.

    This is a hands-on, project-focused role supporting employee resource groups, cross-functional committees, external partnerships, and enterprise-wide EDIB initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and experienced managing multiple stakeholders, projects, and communications in a fast-paced environment.

    Position Details

    • Contract: 2–3 months (potential for extension)
    • Hours: Up to 35 hours per week
    • Location: Fully Remote (Must reside in DC, Maryland, or Virginia)
    • Target Start: Week of August 17
    • Pay: Starting at $40/hour

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate Employee Resource Group (ERG) meetings, governance, communications, and implementation activities.
    • Support the organization's EDIB steering committee by managing meetings, action items, and project deliverables.
    • Maintain relationships with external inclusion partners and coordinate partnership activities.
    • Manage multiple EDIB projects, timelines, trackers, reports, and implementation plans.
    • Draft internal communications, leadership updates, meeting materials, and presentations.
    • Track program metrics, maintain documentation, and prepare reports for leadership.
    • Ensure continuity of ongoing EDIB initiatives throughout the contract period.

    Qualifications

    • Experience coordinating DEI/EDIB, employee engagement, HR, nonprofit, or organizational development programs.
    • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Experience preparing reports, presentations, meeting materials, and executive communications.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common project management tools.
    • Experience working with employee resource groups, committees, or cross-functional initiatives is strongly preferred.
