    About Inflection Point Agency (IPA)

Founded in 2017, Inflection Point Agency (IPA) is a boutique, global agency that helps our client-partners accelerate the green and blue economy. Our work spans clean energy, EVs and charging infrastructure, industrial innovation, climate tech commercialization, green buildings, ocean conservation, and other environment and sustainability sectors. Clients include nonprofits and NGOs, startups, major tech and automotive companies, renewable energy developers, utilities, investors and philanthropies, and government agencies around the world. We’re a certified member of 1% for the Planet and a signatory of Clean Creatives. For more information, please visit https://inflectionpointagency.com/.

    About the role

We’re seeking a mission-driven social media savant to lead social media strategy and operations for IPA’s brand account and for our clients’ brand accounts and senior leadership across a range of platforms (especially, but not limited to, LinkedIn and Bluesky). In this role, you’ll interface directly with IPA’s client-partners to set social strategy, draft content, develop associated creative, and publish posts / run campaigns.

Key responsibilities (i.e., what you’ll do)

    • Update client-specific social media strategies to optimize impact
    • Architect and manage organic and paid campaigns
    • Develop post content (independently, in collaboration with other IPA team members, and in consultation with clients)
    • Manage review and approval processes for client content
    • Produce needed social graphics and other creative (in coordination with IPA’s creative director)
    • Report on relevant performance metrics (e.g., follower growth, post engagement, campaign outcomes)
    • Support on social-adjacent graphic design needs (as assigned by IPA’s creative director)

Skills and qualifications (i.e., what we’re looking for)

    • Highly-driven, self-motivated, and thrive in a remote work environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, public relations, climate communications, environmental journalism, or a related field preferred
    • 5+ years progressively responsible experience (spanning organic and paid campaigns), especially in B2B and B2G social media (previous experience working in an agency setting is desirable but not absolutely necessary)
    • Fluency across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Bluesky, Twitter / X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) as well as social management tools (e.g., Social Pilot, Buffer, Hootsuite)
    • Passion for environment and sustainability, in particular with familiarity across sectors such as clean energy, transportation electrification, and climate tech (and the ability to learn others quickly)
    • Comfort with tech-heavy topics (data science, software, industrial processes)
    • Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and “code switch” tone of voice across clients
    • Strong writing skills — both ground-up human writing and the ability to prompt and refine AI outputs, guard against hallucinations, etc.
    • Familiarity with graphic design software (Adobe suite preferred)
    • Comfort with basic video editing (e.g., iMovie, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut)

    How to apply

To apply, please submit a cover letter, examples and/or links to social media campaigns and graphic design work, and your resume to careers@inflectionpointagency.com.

    Compensación

This is a near-full-time, remote position (30 hours per week). IPA bases a full time work week on 35 hours per week / 7 hours per day. You’ll be part of a decentralized and all-remote IPA team, with clients globally, so virtual meetings and a combination of synchronous and asynchronous work are the norm.

    • Salary: $60,000–$68,500 depending on experience (based on FTE of $70k–$80k, with the potential to transition to a full time role over time, pending client workload)
    • Generous paid time off (including ~10 company holidays, the week between Christmas and New Year’s, and 4 weeks flexible PTO)
    • Optional QSEHRA reimbursement for health insurance and expenses
    • Work-from-home and professional development reimbursement
    • End-of-year profit-sharing bonus pool
