About CareHaven
CareHaven builds private mobile apps that help family caregivers carry the mental load of caring for someone with complex medical, behavioral, or developmental needs. Our flagship app (currently in beta) gives caregivers one calm place to track medications, appointments, behaviors, patterns, and handoffs — so their brain doesn’t have to hold it all. We’re a small, founder-owned company focused on privacy, practical tools, and real relief for caregivers.
The Role
We’re looking for a motivated recent graduate or graduating senior to help build CareHaven’s presence and community from the ground up. This starts as a part-time role with the clear intention of growing into a full-time position as the app gains traction and the team expands.
You’ll own social media, community outreach, and early relationship-building with caregivers, families, and organizations that support them. This is a hands-on role with real ownership — you’ll help shape how CareHaven shows up online and in the real world.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage content across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) that speaks authentically to family caregivers
- Grow and engage an online community of caregivers, parents, and supporters
- Identify and reach out to relevant organizations, support groups, schools, therapy practices, and disability/advocacy communities
- Help plan and support simple outreach efforts (virtual events, partnerships, local connections, content collaborations)
- Track what’s working and share insights so we can double down on effective channels
- Represent CareHaven’s voice: calm, practical, respectful of the real weight caregivers carry
Who We’re Looking For
- Graduating senior or recent graduate (ideally with interest in communications, marketing, public relations, social work, health-related fields, or special needs/disability studies)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Comfortable creating social content and engaging with people online and in person
- Self-starter who is detail-oriented, organized and can manage their own time
- Genuine interest in caregiving, special needs, or family support communities is a big plus (personal experience is welcome but not required)
- Reliable, thoughtful, and aligned with a privacy-first, caregiver-centered mission
Details
- Part-time to start (flexible hours, roughly 10–20 hours/week depending on capacity)
- Strong potential to convert to full-time as CareHaven grows
- Remote-friendly / flexible arrangement
- Opportunity to help shape the early voice and community of a meaningful product
If you’re interested in doing real outreach work for a product that aims to make caregivers’ lives lighter, we would love to hear from you.
