Pruitt Health Hospice

PruittHealth Hospice is seeking volunteers to visit patients both in facilities and at home. Volunteers are a crucial part of hospice, and serve in a variety of ways including companionship, chatting, reading to patients, and providing respite for a caregiver to run an errand or attend an appointment. Volunteers with special skills and talents are also needed : Do you play an instrument or sing? Are you licensed hairstylist, massage therapist, or have a therapy dog? We would love to use your skills and talents to impact our patients and families. Office volunteers are also needed in the Florence office to assist the administrative assistant and volunteer coordinator with basic tasks, such as making copies, filing, and answering phone calls.
