StreetChange is a new, transformative mobile crowdfunding application that allows smartphone users to donate money toward necessities like socks and coats requested by participating street homeless individuals, who meet with case managers to discuss long-term services when obtaining donated items. The program fulfills 3 primary goals:
· engaging street homeless adults who have been resistant to services
· enabling Philadelphians to help homeless individuals fulfill short-term needs
