It's the perfect cultural exchange opportunity! You will spend 6 hours a day, per 3 days of the week, simply having conversations with Ecuadorians from in and around Latacunga. So the cultural exchange will be to truely get to know lots of people who live in and around Latacunga, an Ecuadorian town of approx. 64,000 people. Choosing to volunteer at our institute presents a unique opportunity for travelers to make a meaningful impact while immersing themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Ecuador. Our project is dedicated to empowering individuals and communities in Latacunga by providing English language education, thereby opening doors to a world of opportunities. Volunteers play a crucial role in this endeavor, offering their expertise in pronunciation, vocabulary, and cultural exchange. Through dynamic activities and engaging conversations, volunteers not only enhance the language skills of our participants but also foster a deep understanding of global perspectives. Moreover, volunteers are afforded the chance to explore Ecuador's diverse cultural heritage. Volunteers can visit the magesty volcano Cotopaxi, that is consider one of the highest in the world. There is the magic Quilotoa Lagoon, a great waterfall and the Ilinizas mountains that will make this experience one of the most memorable you can have. We garantee you will feel welcome and comfortable in our rooms. You will enjoy meeting our staff during lunch time in our shared-kitchen with an amazing view to the city.
