Hospice is a specialized type of care to help you, or your loved one, take control of your life and your disease. Hospice care can take place in a variety of settings, and is designed to surround the patient and the family with the physical, emotional and spiritual resources needed to make the most of every moment.
Choosing hospice does not mean you are giving up on life. Instead, it means you are focusing on comfort instead of a cure so that a better quality of life can be maintained for as long as possible.
