Heart of Hospice

Administrative Support Volunteer - Help with clerical functions and organizational activities to support our caregiving team. (EXAMPLES: Answer telephones, file, data entry, assist with patient/family mailings)

Direct Patient Service Volunteer - Provide help and companionship to patients and respite for their caregivers. (EXAMPLES: Visit with patient/family, provide relief to caregiver, read aloud to patient, assist with housekeeping, play cards/games, help with yard work, shop, run errands, walk a dog)

Specialty Programs - Offer unique services to patients, their caregivers and the community to expand the scope of our care and meet their individual needs. (EXAMPLES: Pet Companion, Tuck-In-Team, Life Review Project, Veteran to Veteran, Community Events, Butterfly Release, Recruitment Booths)
