Hadithi Zetu (Our Stories)

Hadithi Zetu is Swahili for "Our Stories." We are a grassroots social enterprise committed to preserving endangered oral literature as well as revitalizing storytelling in East Africa through film and other multimedia tools. Our current organizational focus includes building an online library of oral literature, and creating educational films in local languages. Through our work we hope to create quality educational films that are appropriate and relevant to the culture and to provide employment and exposure to talented artists in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
