Riverside Shore Hospice

A terminal illness may limit your future, but is shouldn't limit your Present. The Riverside Shore Hospice team officers special care that spans the entire scope of end of life needs: emotional, social, spiritual and physical. Shore Hospice is blessed to have a team of dedicated volunteers that offer companionship and emotional support to our patients and respite to caregivers. Our volunteers often sit with, read to, engage in hobbies and pray with our patients. They also help around the home when needed or offer a break to allow family caregivers a chance to get out of the house to attend social functions or personal needs. Our volunteers receive special training and are not required to give a minimum or regular amount of time. Volunteers only give of their time as they are comfortable and do not perform medical or skilled care. We would love to have you on our team!
