The program targets students and other non students who wish to come to South Africa and experience life here. This may happen in a number of capacities including as voluntary workers, semester abroad students or study english or interns in an organization affiliated to the program. Southern Ambition strives to give students and non students a wide range of opportunities and to promote their academic and social growth, while fostering specific skills that lead to the development of intercultural competence. The program will offer extensive options in field studies, voluntary and cultural programs designed to complement students and non students and inculcate in them a lasting appreciation of cultures other than their own.
