Symmetry Wood was founded to spare forests from destruction due to logging and subsequent deforestation. Our goal is to use our new materials — derived from food wastes — to disrupt the sales of very-high-value (VHV) woods, the demand for which is driving rapacious logging, the largest direct cause of forest degradation and the primary factor leading to deforestation in the tropics.
