Harbor Hospice

Volunteers are literally, the heart of Harbor Hospice, providing a special kind of caring and compassion. The last good thing that may happen in a person's life is a hospice volunteer. Be a rainbow is someone else's cloud.

It takes a very special, caring person to give of themselves as unselfishly as a volunteer. If you would like to be part of our team, here are some examples of activities you can assist with:

++ staying with a patient while caretaker takes a much needed break or to keep an appointment.

++ reading to a patient, listening or holding a hand.

++working on crafts and other projects.

++helping with clerical and other office duties.
