The event is an annual one that is held in September of every year as part of the activities of
the Lineenbaal Women Association (LIWA) and women in general, and aims to intensify commitments
to environmental and climate change issues, among others. The activities rotate yearly into
various areas where the LiWA has members.
The theme for 2025 is "ADVANCING THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN CLIMATE CHANGE THROUGH AGROECOLOGY”. The events offer a wealth of learning and fun, allowing participating delegates to return home with renewed spirit, new knowledge, and lessons to guide their objectives.
The Lineenbaal Women Association targets to plant over 5,000 trees this year and forms part of the annual activities of the group
