Licenses accepted: a valid RN, LPN, LVN, EMT, MD, DO, PA, NP, or APRN; Sorry, No Phlebotomists

Disaster Health Servies (DHS) Bootcamp Schedule

• Disaster Cycle Services: An Overview
• DHS Fundamentals - Instructor Led only course that will prepare participants to provide Disaster Health Services that support national disaster relief operations and regional disaster responses.
• Lunch
• Deployment Fundamentals for Responders Traveling Away from Home and Mission Cards-Cardholder Overview
• SCIA/CMIST Review - Join us for a demo and workshop in the Shelter Client Information Application (SCIA). This session will focus on SCIA use as a Disaster Health Services worker.
• Red Cross (RC )Care Review - RC Care is the system of record for secure documentation of Red Cross client contact records and case records.

The following pre-requisites to be completed prior to attending Bootcamp:

• RC Care Program Overview
• Disaster Client Intake,
• Providing and Documenting (Individual Disaster Care) IDC Services with RC Care
• Document Review for Intake Workers.
