Airport Planner

Under the guidance of the Director of Airport Planning, you'll play a pivotal role in developing comprehensive airport planning documents and programs for Reliever Airports. Your responsibilities will include:

• • Crafting long-term visions: Plan and coordinate long-term plans, master plans, and airport layout plans.
  • Building strong connections: Foster relationships with MAC departments, airport tenants, governmental jurisdictions, the Federal Aviation Administration, MnDOT Aeronautics, and the Metropolitan Council.
  • Navigating complex processes: Assist with airport zoning and variance processes, environmental reviews for facility development, and planning tasks related to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).

We're looking for someone with a passion for aviation, a visionary mindset, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to execute planning projects with guidance from the Director of Planning.
