The Town of Chatham is seeking a collaborative and highly skilled public health professional to serve as our next Health Agent.

Under administrative direction of the Director of Natural Resources, the Health Agent ensures the health, safety and well-being of residents and visitors of the Town through administration and enforcement of state and local health and environmental codes, laws and policies.

This is a benefits and pension-eligible position, with a starting annual salary range of $97,240.00 - $101,171.20 (effective 7/1/26) paid at a biweekly rate of $3,740.00 $3,891.20; FLSA-Exempt/Salaried 40 hours per week (with the expectation of evening meetings and requirements outside of standard hours of business). The position is covered under the Chatham Municipal Employees Association.
