City of New Orleans - Mayor's Neighborhood Engagement Office

The Mayor’s Neighborhood Engagement Office (NEO) serves as the City’s permanent mechanism to create spaces for dialogue, information sharing, partnership and action with neighborhood residents, leaders & organizations to improve the quality of life for the residents of the City of New Orleans. NEO works to facilitate dialogue, by linking neighborhoods to city government to address community issues. NEO will create avenues of engagement through online and offline methods to provide open spaces for feedback on City initiatives. Finally, NEO will advance City priorities by partnering with neighborhood organizations and leaders to solve problems at the community level and to ensure that they are solved with combined knowledge & efforts.
