We believe all children can achieve, no matter their life circumstances. Teachers are the key school-based influencers of student achievement, and along with their administrators, have the power to lead the change necessary to improve teacher effectiveness in NYC’s public schools.
A teacher’s job is both complex and challenging. Therefore, we strive to be responsive and flexible to meet the varied needs of 80,000 teachers and administrators as we support the implementation of Advance, the NYC Department of Education’s teacher development and evaluation system.
