Academy for Young Writers

The Academy for Young Writers is a 6-12 college preparatory public school located in Brooklyn, NY. We use writing across all areas of our curriculum as a tool for generating comprehension and retaining knowledge. At Young Writers we value the power of the relationships that members of our community develop with one another through our Advisory program.

We are excited to expand our academic program for the 2014-2015 school year. Our state of the art school building has SMART Boards, document cameras, and Mac computers in every instructional space and our students and teachers have access to the technology and facilities necessary for a rigorous, engaging, and comprehensive 21st century education.
