Matt Haggman is a progressive Democrat running for Congress in South Florida’s 27th District to build a 21st century economy where no one gets left behind, to drive innovation and entrepreneurship as a means to tackle some of our biggest challenges like climate change and sea level rise, and to fight for our values at a time when they are under constant attack. Matt was an award-winning reporter at The Miami Herald and program director at Miami’s Knight Foundation, where he led an effort sparking innovation and entrepreneurship across South Florida. He lives in Coconut Grove with his wife, Danet Linares, and their 2 dogs, Henry and Abigail.
