AmeriCorps VISTA Refugee Services Project, Florida Department of Children and Families

The AmeriCorps VISTA Refugee Service Project for the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is a statewide program that partners with local non-profit organizations at several locations across the state to receive support from AmeriCorps VISTA members. These AmeriCorps Members serve various projects to build the capacity of refugee service programs at these organizations. This AmeriCorps VISTA project works toward program sustainability and to expand and improve service delivery to refugees who are resettled in Florida as they transition toward community integration and economic self-sufficiency.
