National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START)

START is a research consortium based at the University of Maryland in College Park, just outside of Washington, D.C. START has built a team that reflects our multidisciplinary approach, bringing together individuals from a wide range of academic and methodological backgrounds. In addition to conducting research and education, the START headquarters team provides administrative support and outreach opportunities to foster the work of the Consortium and inform the professional national security community.
