Sudbury Board of Health Social Work Office

The Sudbury Board of Health's mission is promote community wellbeing by supporting the social determinants of health and fostering health equity.

The Social Work Office is available to provide services to any member of the Sudbury community using a person-centered, trauma-informed, social justice framework. The Town Social Worker, along with Masters level social work interns, have vast knowledge of the myriad of resources availalbe to meet residents social emotional, financial, transportation, health/mental health, and basic needs. The Social Work Office also engages with the community to provide education, develop programming, increase access to services, reduce barriers, address systemic challenges, advocate for resident needs, and increase capacity/mutual aide networks.
