As a leading provider of government support services, with nearly six decades of experience, PAE provides trusted stabilization, development and national security support services to customer around the world.

PAE provides full time and seasonal support to the three US-based stations, remote field camps, and research vessels for the United States Antarctic Program (USAP). Managed by the National Science Foundation, the USAP deploys roughly 3,000 people to Antarctica every year to conduct scientific research, or provide support to researchers through the operation and maintenance of the research stations and vessels.

The majority of our employees deploy during the Austral Summer season which begins in October/November and goes through February. For those that aren't afraid of weathering a winter season in the coldest, driest, most remote location in the world...the Austral Winter season deploys from February through October/November.
