Congressman Josh Harder seeks a motivated and energetic person to serve as a Casework Manager in his Modesto office.

The Casework Manager’s primary role is to manage the Congressman’s active casework program by acting as a liaison to federal, and local agencies on behalf of constituents. This role also involves overseeing multiple caseworkers to make sure every request for support is responded to in a timely and effective manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

o  Manages the full casework program including quality control, assignment of cases, and screening to ensure cases are handled in a responsive manner

o  Acts as the representative for the Congressman within his or her area of responsibility including answering casework correspondence and verbal communications with constituents and serving as a liaison with federal, district, and local agencies

o  Responds to telephone and written inquiries and serves as the constituent’s advocate with government agencies such as Veterans Administration, Social Security, Immigration, and Unemployment

o  Willing to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, and weekends
