Welcome to the Division of Community Services (DCS). The Division is responsible for the administration and distribution of the NYS Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds. The Division works with a network of Community Action Agencies and other CSBG funded entities to fund and promote services that combat poverty among poor and low income families. Examples of such services include: employment and training, education, housing, emergency food and child care.
