Office of the Employee Ombud
Acerca de
The Office of the Employee Ombud (OEO) has been recently created to support City employees who are experiencing a workplace that conflicts with the City of Seattle's workplace expectations and values. The city strives for an inclusive, safe, and welcoming workplace environment. OEO provides neutral and impartial advice and conflict navigation to City employees for addressing allegations of workplace harassment, discrimination, and other misconduct, while preserving employee confidentiality to the extent allowed or required under federal, state, and City laws and policies. The OEO also reports regularly to the Mayor's Office and the City Council on issues and trends reported by employees in order to recommend improvements to the City's Personnel Rules, complaint and investigations systems, workplace expectations, and other applicable City processes and systems.
