Interested in bringing communities together? Want to build better neighborhoods? With its mission of "Empowering Neighborhoods, Building Community", Austin’s award-winning Neighborhood Partnering Program helps catalyze the vision of residents into community projects. From community gardens to sidewalks to mosaics, the program assists community groups in developing, resourcing, and executing small to medium sized projects on City-owned property. By building relationships and conducting outreach, the VISTA position will focus on the program’s equity by catalyzing projects and mobilizing neighborhoods in low-income communities.
