Canadian Consulate General in Chicago

The Canadian Consulate General in Chicago, Illinois, is part of the network of Canadian Government representation in the United States, which includes the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C., ten Consulates General, three Canadian Trade Offices and one Consulate.

The Consulate General’s Trade and Investment section promotes business development, investment and offers advisory services to Canadian companies looking to build their export business in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri and parts of western Iowa and northwestern Indiana. It also works with U.S. companies to assist with out-sourcing, cooperation, alliances and/or direct investment.

Our Political Economic and Public Affairs section assists visiting Canadian artists, promotes Canadian studies in Midwestern colleges, informs American students about higher education opportunities in Canada, and provides consular services to Canadians working or traveling in the region.
