    Descripción

The Growth Specialist ensures AAC's digital presence performs at its best through systematic execution and continuous optimisation. You'll own website operations, funnel optimisation, and performance tracking — turning data into action that drives programme applications.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and collaborating with the Content Specialist and UX Researcher, you'll implement strategic priorities while surfacing insights that inform future decisions. Through rigorous testing and analysis, you'll identify what motivates talented professionals to engage with our programmes and scale what works.

Every optimisation removes friction between passionate people and their most impactful career path. Your work will directly shape AAC's strategic decisions, helping us connect more talent with high-impact opportunities for animals.

    Core responsibilities

    Website operations & optimisation (50%)

    • Manage all website pages in Elementor — building new pages, updating existing content, and optimising for user experience and conversions based on strategic priorities
    • Conduct SEO audits and optimise pages for search performance — implementing improvements to keywords, metadata, content structure, and internal linking
    • Run monthly technical audits to catch issues (broken links, outdated content, site errors) before they impact performance
    • Analyse GA4 and Search Console data continuously to uncover optimisation opportunities and implement improvements that drive growth
    • Stay aligned with evolving SEO/AI search behaviour and flag relevant implications

Lead generation & funnel activation (25%)

    • Run targeted outreach campaigns using email, LinkedIn, and AI-powered tools to attract qualified candidates
    • Identify and fix conversion bottlenecks throughout the application funnel using data and user research insights
    • Test and implement conversion improvements across key touchpoints (CTAs, forms, page layouts)
    • Support programme and campaign launches with landing page creation, tracking setup, quality assurance, and performance monitoring
    • Manage UTMs: create naming conventions, generate links for campaigns, maintain tracking documentation, and ensure the team uses consistent attribution
    • Maintain email list health through regular cleaning, segmentation, and engagement monitoring

    Analytics & performance reporting (20%)

    • Produce monthly KPI reports that highlight trends, opportunities, and areas needing attention across all channels
    • Track cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and attribution data to understand which channels and touchpoints deliver the highest impact
    • Maintain dashboards that give the team real-time visibility into what's working
    • Investigate performance changes and provide actionable recommendations backed by data
    • Maintain an A/B testing roadmap and backlog, building a knowledge base of what drives results
    • Close the loop: analyse → recommend → implement → measure → share learnings

Other marketing operations tasks as they emerge (5%)

    • Maintain automations and data flows between marketing tools
    • Handle ad-hoc marketing operational needs as they arise

    Ideal candidate profile

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 2 years in marketing operations, growth, or digital optimisation roles
    • Proven track record of improving conversion rates through testing and optimisation
    • Hands-on experience with WordPress and Elementor for building and optimising pages
    • Experience using analytics tools (GA4, Google Search Console, or similar) to drive decisions
    • Experience with on-page SEO and website optimisation
    • Bonus: Experience with marketing automation platforms or AI-powered marketing tools

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Advanced spreadsheet skills for data analysis and visualisation (formulas, pivots, charts)
    • Strong technical proficiency with marketing tools and platforms
    • Ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
    • Clear documentation skills to ensure processes are repeatable and scalable
    • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation methodologies

    Personal Attributes:

    • Naturally investigative — you dig deep to understand root causes
    • Operational mindset — you notice issues early and close loops without being asked
    • Self-directed but collaborative — you work independently while keeping others informed
    • Improvement-obsessed — you get genuine satisfaction from making things work better
    • Systems thinker — you see beyond immediate fixes to long-term solutions

    Why Join AAC

This role directly influences how effectively we connect talented professionals with high-impact opportunities for animals.
