    What will you be doing?

    This role is a key member of the fundraising team and primarily responsible for supporting the operations of the Development team while strengthening our relationships with our donors.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in Virtuous (donor data base)
    • Ensure data integrity, timely data entry, and consistent coding standards
    • Process all incoming donations and ensure timely acknowledgments
    • Maintain and update donor acknowledgment templates and automated messaging systems
    • Support process improvement and documentation around gift processing, database and fundraising tool usage
    • Support fundraising campaigns with direct mail, email appeals, and online giving initiatives
    • Cross-train on mailing and recognition list development
    • Provide administrative support for fundraising events (in-person and virtual), including invitations, guest list management, and follow-up
    • Support communications efforts through social media posts, event outreach and website maintenance
    • Maintain schedule of state charitable registration applications and renewals
    • Respond to general donor inquiries and requests via phone and email
    • Coordinate office volunteers as needed
    • Perform administrative duties as needed including activities like filing, copying, sorting, mailing

    What do you need to succeed?

    • 2-4 years experience in administrative support, data entry, and non profit fundraising
    • Clear, concise & effective communication
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks
    • Passionate community-minded professional with the ability to build internal and external relationships with a variety of stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate across differences, across all levels in the organization, using multiple methods and styles
    • A commitment to social justice, racial equity, and intersectional practice with experience executing those values through your work
    • Organized, detail oriented, and proactive
    • Works well independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • A sense of humor!

The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, skills and qualifications.
