    THE OPPORTUNITY

    IWF seeks an Assistant to the CEO and Digital Communications Coordinator who can be part of a global team making a difference in women’s leadership.

    Reporting to the CEO and Global Head of Communications, this position requires strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and creativity. Core responsibilities include:

    • Assistant to the CEO (50%)
      • Provide sophisticated calendar management for the CEO; prioritize multiple appointments while troubleshooting conflicts, make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagement; and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage schedule.
      • Meeting and travel preparation and logistics, including arranging information to be available in advance of meetings.
      • Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the CEO.
      • Brief the CEO ahead of upcoming meetings, events, and speaking engagements, keep the CEO well informed of upcoming commitments, as well as conducting research and gathering relevant information as needed.
      • Coordinating office activities such as Staff Retreats, Birthday Celebrations, and additional team-building activities.
    • Digital Communications Coordinator (50%):
      • Create and curate engaging digital content that will elevate IWF’s brand awareness and foster community connection across digital platforms.
      • Keep a pulse on trends and news related to IWF community members and women’s leadership, and identify opportunities to promote IWF
      • Support communications and marketing for IWF’s annual leadership conferences and other initiatives.
      • Help develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with organizational goals, events, and key initiatives; Monitor digital analytics to optimize strategy.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The candidate will be a highly organized individual with excellent project management, communications, and relationship-building skills. The candidate will be comfortable working with high-level executives and skilled at anticipating and meeting the needs of internal and external leaders. The candidate must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and be available for occasional work outside of typical business hours and occasional domestic and international travel. This role requires in-office attendance four days per week, with additional in-office presence required at the discretion of the CEO.

    • Minimum Qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s degree required.
      • At least two years of relevant experience (may include substantive internships) in executive support, communications, or marketing.
      • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
      • Strong interpersonal skills to manage a broad range of relationships with care.
      • Sensitivity and respect for the diversity of IWF, its membership, and constituencies.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience with:
        • Social media content management
        • Salesforce or similar CRM
        • WordPress
        • CMS utilization
      • Foreign Language skills a plus
