    • Partner with the Executive Director and program managers to understand financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide analysis that supports operational and strategic decisions.
    • Develop and maintain financial and organizational reporting tools, including key performance indicators and dashboards.
    • Oversee fund accounting for restricted gifts, grants, endowments, bequests, and other designated funds, ensuring appropriate tracking, documentation, and use of funds.

    • Lead preparation for the annual audit and Form 990 process and oversee required nonprofit financial and compliance filings.
    • Support oversight of investments, endowments, reserves, planned gifts, and related financial policies.
    • Maintain and strengthen financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and reporting systems to meet the needs of a growing organization.
    • Provide financial guidance and support to staff and Board committees, translating complex financial information into clear, useful insights.

The Finance Director will join BBGS at an important stage of organizational development and will have the opportunity to shape financial systems and practices that support the organization for years to come.
