    Role Overview:

    The Regional Coordinator will join the leadership team to oversee and mentor the operations of this national helpline initiative. The role provides conceptual and operational leadership as the platform expands into a national movement across multiple states and cities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operations & Administration: Manage and administer regional operations, including the implementation of expansion plans and supporting central operations.
    • Data & Quality Control: Monitor data quality coming into the helpline, track MIS data, and ensure swift resolution of registered cases.
    • Case Oversight: Track critical cases for speedy resolution and ensure field teams adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
    • Team Mentorship: Guide, mentor, and nurture field teams managed by various CSO partners across different regions.
    • Networking & Liaison: Build relationships and coordinate with labour organisers, CSOs, and lawyers to ensure swift responses to distressed workers. Network with regional rights organisations to improve visibility.
    • Representation & Reporting: Represent the initiative in relevant forums, contribute to policy discussions, and fulfil donor reporting requirements.

    Required Qualifications & Experiences:

    • Postgraduate Degree: In law, labour studies, social work, development, management, or a related field.
      • Note: Graduates with significant, proven experience and knowledge in labour and migration will also be considered.
    • Professional Experience: 5 to 10 years of work experience in the development sector, preferably with at least 2 to 3 years specifically focused on labour, migration, or legal aid.
    • Team Management: Proven experience managing, guiding, and nurturing large, multi-location field teams.
    • Geographical Advantage: Professional connections and past or current work experience in Delhi or Bangalore / surrounding regions is a major plus.
