Reporting to the Director & CEO and working closely with Head of the Modern Library and Head of Prints and Photographs, the Digital Projects Coordinator will manage the end-to-end processing of digital materials for public access. Working closely with the photographer, the coordinator will oversee the capture of archival material, the post-production, metadata creation, quality control, and ingestion into the digital asset management system (DAMS). The coordinator will also participate directly in the digitization of collection materials, including operating camera equipment to create high-quality digital images. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in digitization and an interest in digital preservation workflows. The position is grant funded for one year.

The Hispanic Society Museum & Library was founded in New York City in 1904 with the purpose of advancing the study and appreciation of the art, literature, and culture of Spain, Portugal, Latin America, and the Philippines.
