Are you an online generalist with experience in project management? As Online Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of technical projects in Welthungerhilfe's online team. You will work in close coordination with colleagues and external service providers on the structural, content-related and technical optimization of the German and international websites.
Your responsibilities
- Identifying and resolving technical or structural weaknesses before they become critical, ensuring a stable and future-proof digital presence
- Planning, coordinating, and implementing online projects, including task and deadline management and communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Close collaboration with the web support and maintenance agency, including creating tickets and briefings and overseeing the implementation process with quality assurance and documentation
- Advising international colleagues on the implementation of technical web projects or new digital features
- Shared responsibility for the strategic development and optimization of web presences regarding structure, technology, and usability at both national and international levels
Your profile
- Completed vocational training or university degree in a relevant field
- Initial professional experience in digital product management or online project management
- Experience in managing and coordinating external service providers such as freelancers and agencies
- Broad knowledge of common online marketing requirements and processes (e.g., SEO, email, web analytics and tracking, marketing automation, (mobile) UX design, accessibility)
- Ideally, initial experience with integrating interfaces for tools such as web analytics, tag managers, CRM platforms, email delivery systems, or content delivery networks
- Experience using AI tools in content, marketing, or technical workflows
- Strong understanding of user needs
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience managing interdisciplinary and international project teams
- High flexibility and readiness for deployment in acute emergency situations
- Experience using ticketing and project visualization systems
- Very good TYPO3 skills
- You recognize the growing value of data in your field and are eager to build your awareness and skills to incorporate data-informed approaches into your work.
- Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
