    Descripción

    EVLovesNYC, a nonprofit organization fighting food insecurity in NYC, is seeking a mission driven, part time Administration & Finance Coordinator who is able to apply their experience to improve the day-to-day administration, financial documentation, and internal communications of the organization. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or financial adjacent role within a nonprofit. The position can be primarily remote, while visits to our Lower Manhattan kitchen and other in-person meetings are anticipated one to four times per month.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Administration:
      • Maintain and organize employee onboarding paperwork, agreements, reviews, paid time off accruals, and other HR adjacent documents on Google Drive and Gusto.
      • Maintain Google Sheets databases of various metrics including meal counts, distribution locations, and other fundraising statistics.
      • Assist volunteer committee leads in organizing and maintaining various virtual committee documents including meeting minutes, graphic files, grant databases, and reconciliation documents.
      • Organize various printable documents for day-to-day operations including inventory sheets, food distribution schedules, and distribution partner contact information.
    • Financial:
      • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including bill payments via Ramp, and invoices for catering and corporate volunteer work groups via Quickbooks Online.
      • Maintain reconciliation sheets for various income streams through Google Sheets and other third party CRM software.
      • Reconcile donations and donor information from various income streams with centralized CRM software.
    • Internal Communications:
      • Maintain multiple email inboxes and social media platforms with inquiries regarding corporate volunteer days, in kind contributions, and general questions from volunteers.
      • Update website through Wordpress to include meal stats, fundraising campaigns, staffing updates, and other program information.
      • Coordinate with distribution partners for meal distribution schedules and changes.

    Timeline and Growth:

    The Administration & Finance Coordinator will begin in early January 2026 with a flexible 20 hour work week, and have an opportunity to revisit the weekly schedule and pay rate based on budget projections and job performance upon a three month review scheduled for April 2026.
