The New York New Jersey Regional Joint Board of Workers United is hiring a Bilingual Organizer (Spanish/English) to build worker power, deepen democratic shop leadership, and win contracts that transform people's lives.

Who We Are

Workers United is a Union transforming the experience of working people through militant shop leadership and organizing that doesn't play it safe. The labor movement is having a moment — and we're forging a path where our members lead and organizing is constant, not occasional.

What You'll Do

Work side-by-side with worker leaders across workplaces fighting to win their first contracts or strengthen existing ones.

• Build and run campaigns and escalating action plans in represented shops
• Work with shop leaders to achieve collective goals
• Identify and develop new leaders into active Union roles

What You Bring

• Fluency in Spanish and English
• 2+ years of union or related organizing experience
• A track record of moving workers to action
• Independence, sound judgment, and strong collaborative instincts
• Ability to build rapport across diverse communities
• Comfort with Google Suite, and project management tools
• Valid driver's license

Regular Tri-State travel required (expenses covered); occasional travel farther out for campaigns, workshops, or conferences .

Compensation & Benefits

$70,000–$80,000/year starting salary, commensurate with experience. Full benefits: 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and defined benefit pension. This position is union-represented under a collective bargaining agreement.
